Dynamics of activity actualizing intuition (AAI) is indicative of role of intuition and anticipation of unpredictable stimuli in the structure of mental processes, as well as the need-motivational sphere of personality depending on gender, regional and cultural characteristics. Subject of our study is dynamics of AAI in students of Tyumen and Crimean regions. For these purposes we used: (i) methods of theoretical level: generalization, theoretical analysis of potential factors of dynamics of intuition activity; the interpretation of the experimental procedure with affective pictures; (ii) methods of data collection: authors software stimuli anticipation, stimuli image database International Affective Picture System (IAPS). Taking into account gender and regional characteristics of students, we analyzed how effectively they predicted (chose) pictures of different categories (negative, neutral, erotic) presented at random. We have found that anticipation frequency of erotic images increased in 1–10 attempts, which is more pronounced in young men (57.52 ± 2.41%, p = 0.001 by binomial test) than in girls (53.77 ± 1.93%, p = 0.029 by binomial test). Male students from the Tyumen region predicted erotic images within 11–20 and 21–30 attempts, while ones from the Crimean region did it only within 1–10 attempts. Female students of both regions predicted erotic images often expected only 50% within 1–10 attempts, then (within 11–20 attempts), on the contrary, intuitively avoid elections erotic images. However, only in female students of the Tyumen region the prediction of negative incentives dramatically increase during 21–30 attempts. These features support the observation about greater emancipation and less tension of sexual needs in the Crimean region in comparison with the Tyumen region. We conclude that increased frequency of anticipation of erotic images during 1–10 attempts is more pronounced in male students. Attempts from 31 to 150 did not show any significant trends, as well as dynamics of intuitive choices of neutral stimuli throughout all 150 attempts in experiment. intuition; activity actualizing intuition; efficiency dynamics; crucially unpredictable stimuli; students; affective pictures; International Affective Pictures System (IAPS).
